Seasons Greetings 2020

December 15, 2020

A year of unprecedented challenges for people and businesses is drawing to a close. While Christmas and New Year must be celebrated in a smaller circle than usual, we look forward to a peaceful festive season.

The new year is almost here, and the announcement of the vaccine gives us hope for 2021. Unfortunately, COVID-19 will not disappear by then, but we are optimistic about the future. We very much hope that you have weathered the pandemic well under the circumstances and that you see positive developments for 2021 and beyond.

We are also celebrating our second Christmas with NerdVision.

Despite the disruptions that the world has seen, luckily, the whole NerdVision team has remained safe and well. We migrated to a fully remote working model in record time and then continued to advance NerdVision to support the modern developer.

Below are just a couple of the highlights that we wanted to reflect on in the last quarter.

NerdVison now Supports .NET

After a long testing and beta period, we are very excited to announce Support for .NET. NerdVison is now helping .NET users resolve application issues in production successfully like you have come to expect with NerdVision.

NerdVision Introduces AWS Lambda Support

With serverless environments on the rise, we, at NerdVision, wanted to provide people with the same debugging options as other platforms. As it stands, debugging in a serverless environment is complicated and frustrating. As it can be challenging to replicate the environments locally, it can be nearly impossible to reproduce a bug.

NerdVision supports IntelliJ IDEA.

The IDE plugin allows you to get all the goodness of NerdVision inside your JetBrains IDE. While working on an issue, you can now gather data about the problem directly in the development environment. Finally, you don't have to jump from the IDE to an APM solution or attempt to map the data from your observation tools back to the source code. The bottom line is that you'll reduce your MTTR for the errors, and you and your team can deliver more code faster.

As we move quickly into the New Year, we have many plans, with many; changes, more staff, new partners, and new features planned. So we can continue delivering the value you expect from NerdVision.

Without your confidence in NerdVision, we would not have been able to overcome this crisis so successfully. As a family, we wish you all a Merry Christmas, a healthy and happy New Year!
